We have just wrapped up what felt like an especially busy week. Kiera and Mike completed her science project on time and that was successfully turned in today. Kiera had her second visit to the dentist for a filling, we made a stop by the ice rink to see her skating friends, and headed up to Gingers to pick up some fabric. Time to relax! Not much in the way of weekend plans. As we passed over the the 10 Freeway several times this afternoon the view was the same, practically stopped as far as the eye can see. What possesses people to try to go anywhere today? Oddly, the 60 Freeway, also an East/West route, was moving relatively normally at the same time.
Kiera's completed project board.

The beginnings of Nick's quilt. Fabrics he and I picked out together while on the phone and simultaneously online. Music theme for the quilt I promised him for his 18th birthday.

Exciting plans this weekend involving sewing and yard work! Rather limited on our recreational opportunities until the cast comes off on June 9th and we can hit the beach or the pool.
