Work In Progress

We've been busy with some home improvement projects and I wanted to share progress.
Our kitchen ceiling has gone from this:
To this version with only the primer coat and the trim rings not attached to each light. The new lighting has given us not only much improved lighting but very handy dimmer abilities. And has given the kitchen a much more open look.
The master bathroom floor. Apparently a previous owner's first experiment with do it yourself floor tile work. Those tiles are no longer attached to the floor, at all.

The new floor, pre final cleanup and already a vast improvement.

The toilet area that is in the process of receiving new paint. Of course at our house when we say that "we are getting some painting done" it means that We are getting the paint and applying it to walls, ceiling, baseboards and trim and doors ourselves. It is an exercise in patience for me.

Thanks to the amazing work of Joe and Dan Guilliam, construction and handymen extraordinaire, our floor replacement and toilet update have gone smoothly and efficiently. Final photos to follow.
