Pupppies Come To Visit

While Kiera has been busy here at our house hitting the books to bring her Math up to speed and finish Fifth Grade her mom made the trip to pick up the newest additions to the San Diego household. Reese and Waffie took the second big trip of their puppy lives to come with Kiera's mom, her friends Haley and Jessica and Jessica's puppy Bailey, to pick Kiera up for the weekend. After their car ride we think that they probably enjoyed a little running on the backyard grass before the trip back. We were happy to meet the "boys" and hopefully they can make other trips back to give us a little puppy-fix play time.

There are still plenty of Zoey licks to keep Kiera company until she is with the pups again.

Coit Tower

Rather than take the whimp's route to Coit Tower we opted for the stairs that take you straight up the hill below it. While this is a more demanding route your walk takes you past the most interesting homes set into the side of the hill and a close up view of gardens and yards and the most treacherous driveways we had ever seen. Once we rode the elevator to the top of the tower the opportunity for photographs was amazing. Here is a shot of Kiera getting her view of the tower ceiling. Later last year four of Kiera's Coit Tower photographs were hung with Mike's show of his work in the Wavelengths salon and gallery in Redlands.
